As opportunities arise, I reserve the right to alter the order and to add to or subtract from this syllabus or weekly semester guide.

In this course, students will get to know their camera by extensive
testing of its capabilities. Current trends in Digital Photography will
be explored as well as techniques, workflows and equipment.
Mastering output to labs as well as printing to specialty papers on the
inkjet printers in the classroom. Prerequisites: PHO 240B or GRC
183B or instructor permission.

Grade Breakdown

Final Portfolio its never to early to start working on your final project.

Inks to buy for class   If you are printing in class, you must bring a full set of inks.

how to: PRINTING IN PHOTOSHOP CS2 if you are using CS2 and an Epson printer at home.

how to: PRINTING IN PHOTOSHOP CS3   print this and have it with you in class... refer to it when printing.

Class rules:
1) Don't be late for class. This class starts on time. Slides, discussion, how to -this is the core of the class.
2) Negativity and sarcasm ruin the class. Constructive opinions are welcome, I am open to opinions that are thought out and expressed appropriately.
3) Always have your notebook and images with you for class.
4) Work consistently, don't procrastinate. Things will go wrong.
5) Have fun, explore, share ideas, have an open mind, be respectful or others, work hard, shoot more.

If the link say print. Print It... place it in the notebook, you bring to class. This info will help you complete the class succcessfully. Read and explore all other links for the week, before coming to class. This will keep you informed and move you forward in your exploration of Digital Photography. The PDF's are also useful to print for your notebook,but not necessary. if the link does not say print or PDF it is a link to another website.
